food coma

after a weekend of eating,
muffy and i are in a complete food coma!

we started our friday off with a trip to cold stone creamery

i had the new country time pink lemonade sorbet
(so yummy)
and muffy went with a classic of
cake batter ice cream with reeses' cups mixed in

saturday we went blueberry picking
we picked over two pounds before
she complained of heat exhaustion -- so we went to the beach!

where we met the ice cream man!

saturday night was a treat for me --
a fried seafood fest of lobster, shrimp and clams!
i love new england in the summertime, if only for the seafood!!!

it was "watermelon sunday" at church
(i don't know what that means except for there was
watermelon served in the parking lot after the service!)

and we rounded off the weekend with
scrumptious birthday cake for a dear little friend who turned three

i'm on a diet for the week!
hope you had a food-fabulous weekend too!
