farmer's market

friday on my way home from work,
i stopped at the local blueberry patch and the farmer's market

i just love fresh fruits and veggies

i got so inspired by the beautiful eggplants
and organic tomatos and big, leafy basil

i rushed right home and made an
incredible eggplant parm with fresh sauce!
(i am NOT a good cook, but this did turn out very good)

but i didn't stop there...
the peaches were so big and juicy at one stand
i bought several and made
individual buttermilk biscuit peach cobblers.

have you ever done this? it's really quite simple!
a cooked buttermilk biscuit half
goes in the bottom of a ramekin,
layer with fresh peaches,
top with a butter/sugar/brown sugar/flour crumble
and bake!
